Importing and exporting

When importing, make sure you are using the template that is offered in the import screen. Common issues include an incorrect file structure or a different format of the uploaded file. If no error messages appear but the problem persists, please contact us via live chat.

Make sure you have entered the information in the import template correctly. Error messages appear in the bottom right corner of the screen and provide instructions about the problem. A common error message is when a letter is found in a cell where a number is expected. The message refers to the cell with the error; check and correct it to resolve the import issue. If no error messages appear but the problem persists, please contact us via live chat.

Yes, you can export a file in two standard formats:

  1. Our standard format
  2. Our standard format with merged cells for better readability.

You can also determine which risks are exported by pre-filtering them. In that case, choose Filtered risks instead of All risks.

There are two ways to import files:

  1. Supplementing an existing risk file by importing an Excel spreadsheet:

  • In the RiskChallenger file, click on the three dots in the top right corner.
  • Select Import, download it Import template and copy and paste your data correctly from your Excel spreadsheet to the import template.
  • Save your completed Import template and upload this file into RiskChallenger by clicking the three dots in the top right corner and clicking Import.

  1. Start a new risk file with an existing Excel spreadsheet:

It is possible to upload an existing Excel file, provided that it meets the correct RiskChallenger variables. With this option, it is therefore best to download an import template from an existing template or file. You can then paste the information from your existing Excel into this import template.

  • Go to the area.
  • Click New file.
  • Select the option Importing a spreadsheet.
