Error messages
I can't brainstorm, a brainstorm is open.
Closing your brainstorm browser tab does not close the brainstorm itself. This only happens when you press the “close” button in the top right corner of the brainstorm screen. The facilitator of the open brainstorm must first close it before a new brainstorming session can be started. The facilitator received a link in his email to re-access and close the active brainstorming session.
Someone is in my risk file and now I can't edit it. How do I get this person out?
From the environment screen, by hovering over the file with your mouse, you can see which colleague is editing the file. There is no way to extract this colleague from a file in the app. Talk to this person to leave the risk file, or wait 15 minutes for their project session to expire automatically. To really leave a file, you have to click the back arrow in RiskChallenger. Closing the tab is therefore not enough.

What does the notification ‘is being edited in another application’ mean?
This message means that a user is currently in a brainstorming or quantifying session.
I cannot edit a file despite having write permissions. A small stop sign appears.
If a stop sign appears, it means that a colleague is currently editing the file. Only one user can edit a file at a time. From the environment screen, by hovering over the file with your mouse, you can see which colleague is editing the file.
I have a “time synchronization issue”, what can I do?
This issue occurs when the time on your device is too different from the global time zone you're in. Please check this by going to time.is to go. If your device clock differs by more than a few seconds, reset it in your settings or ask your IT help desk for help.
I get a message saying that my email address is already in use when I try to participate in a brainstorming/quantification session.
This error message can occur in two situations:
1. As a facilitator:
You are attempting to participate as both a facilitator and a participant using the same email address. Unfortunately, it is not possible to open two active sessions (as a participant or as a facilitator) based on the same email address. If you want to participate in an existing brainstorm as a facilitator again, go to the relevant risk file and click on the brainstorm button. If there is an active session, you will be automatically redirected to participate again.
2. As a participant:
You are trying to participate in a brainstorming session in which you already have active participation. If you want to participate again, you can do so via the link in the email you received earlier. After you logged in for the first time and entered your email address, you automatically received a re-participation link.
