Quantifying

To quantify risks as quickly and efficiently as possible, it is recommended to organise a quantification session with all relevant stakeholders. During this session, risks are jointly quantified one by one using RiskChallenger's quantification function. It is desirable that the risks have already been worked out in advance so that the session can be effectively and run smoothly.

No, this is not possible. RiskChallenger is deliberately set up so that you quantify risks one by one. This ensures full focus on each individual risk during the quantification process, which improves the quality and accuracy of the assessment.

This depends on the organization and the applicable guidelines within that organization. If no specific guidelines are available, it is recommended to at least quantify by opportunity, money and time.

The following applies to the classification of the classes in RiskChallenger:

  • It is recommended to build the classes exponentially, with ever larger intermediate steps. This applies to opportunity, money and time.
  • The money classes should be based on the size of the project budget.
  • The time classes must be tailored to the total lead time of the project.

In RiskChallenger, you can set this up via Settings > Quantification. Please note the following points:

  • Always indicate whether you want to quantify qualitatively or quantitatively.
  • Decide which aspects you are going to quantify: opportunity, money and/or time.
  • Optionally, you can add a weighting factor for each aspect.
  • In quantitative quantification, it is also possible to add a description for each class.

No, that is not necessary. Attendees can participate by scanning the QR code or using the link found in the session.

No, this is currently not possible. We are working to add this functionality.
